Known to his patients simply as Dr Abhi, Dr Abhishek Gupta brings more than 23 years of clinical experience to Vantage Dental.
After completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Dr Abhi went on to earn a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics in India, gaining advanced training in restoring complex smiles and rebuilding oral function. He has also achieved the Fellow and Diplomate credentials from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), reflecting his ongoing commitment to excellence in implant dentistry.
Today, Dr Abhi is proud to care for patients across the Illawarra and surrounding region, providing everything from everyday family dentistry to complex full-mouth rehabilitation and smile makeovers. He has a particular passion for creating natural, confident smiles using resin bonding, porcelain veneers, crowns, implants and comprehensive restorative dentistry, always combining aesthetics with long-term function.
Patients appreciate Dr Abhi’s calm, friendly approach and his belief that great dentistry starts with listening. He takes the time to understand each person’s goals, explain treatment options clearly and develop personalised treatment plans that deliver healthy, confident smiles for years to come.
Outside the practice, Dr Abhi enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr Smita Gupta, a General Practitioner who cares for patients throughout the Illawarra and South Coast. Together with their son, they love exploring Australia, discovering new places, and you’ll often find Dr Abhi cheering from the sidelines while his son plays soccer on weekends.
